When plans were made to run the CrenshawLAX airport light rail line through Black LAs main thoroughfare we knew the trains arrival would provide an unprecedented opportunity to expose thousands of tourists and new visitors to the cultural heart of the Black community. So we rose to meet the moment.

Hungry Harold’s is a taste of home and a slice of Crenshaw culture. ❤️ For years, they’ve been a gathering place, a sacred staple to grab a hot meal, and a source of pride at 3453 W Slauson Ave. Destination Crenshaw understands that preserving these cultural touchstones is essential.
