Fresno Immigrant and Refugee Ministries FIRM Since 1994 Fresno Immigrant and Refugee Ministries FIRM has supported refugee communities in the Central San Joaquin Valley including Hmong Laotian Slavic Afghan African and Syrian families. Through our welcoming community building and community health programs we provide services for all ages in 12 different languages. We offer a free health clinic every Wednesday afternoon in partnership with UCSF Fresno Mobile HeaL from 1pm to 4pm which includes childhood vaccines blood pressure diabetes screenings and free consultations with medical professionals.

Last week more than 300 people gathered at FIRM to celebrate 50 Years of the Hmong American Legacy. Our goal was to create a community-centered event where everyone, especially the most vulnerable in our communities, could show up without barriers. No tickets.

Neng was an exceptional Hmong teen who led with humility and strength in every part of his life – his faith, friendships, academics, and community.
