Last night's season finale of Survivor brought high stakes, big moves and yes, a little heartbreak after Mitch was voted off 💔 He may not have left with the million-dollar prize, but gained something priceless; the pride and admiration of the stuttering community and beyond. In this last episode, Mitch admitted, “One of my biggest fears coming out here is that my stutter would hurt me. That it would be challenging to build relationships.” But ironically, what ended up sending him home wasn’t his stutter at all; In fact, he became a threat to the remaining contestants because he played the strongest social game; he turned what he feared would hold him back into his greatest strength that carried him across 13 episodes. Needless to say, we are proud, inspired—counting down the days until we see him at the Annual Conference this July!
