Our teaching embraces the concept of "learning by doing." Our goal is to educate and bring awareness to the importance and fragility of the Sierra Nevada.

Telele Foundation — Healthy Watersheds, Healthy Communities Dedicated to enriching the central sierra and beyond The Telele Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit created to promote Central Sierra Nevada ecology through healthy sustainable local economies and regenerative land use strategies. To advance these goals we focus on fostering community partnerships both close to our home base in Groveland and throughout California. Telele facilitates local events and demonstration projects. In addition Telele has led the charge in bringing movers and shakers into the Central Sierra for numerous conferences allowing Californias top scientists and policymakers to see firsthand what is happening in their upper watershed.
