Hutchins Street Square | Lodi, CA Hutchins Street Square This stunning 90000square foot performing arts conference and community center with its neoclassical architecture and grand presence on Hutchins Street was built on the 10acre site of the former Lodi Union High School which closed after a devastating fire in 1974. Hutchins Street Square is the result of Lodis community pride and determination to turn a literal ash heap into a center for performing and visual arts national and regional corporate meetings and special events indoor pool as well as a variety of recreation programs and services for all ages. The facility has hosted everything from a stage of the Amgen Tour of California bicycle race to national recording artists concerts and home to the annual Sandhill Crane Festival which attracts thousands of visitors from throughout the United States and Canada. The venue is owned by the City of Lodi and is operated by the Parks Recreation and Cultural Services Department.
