It is the mission, duty and purpose of Alaska Honeybee Sanctuary to positively impact Alaska's community via apiculture application, education, and research. Our purpose is to inspire and educate citizens, scientists, and beekeepers to identify negative human impacts on our honeybee population and offer solutions to those impacts. Through collective effort, we create solutions to protect, monitor and restore honeybee populations. We understand the importance of collaborating with individuals and entities around the world and are laying down foundations to make this collaboration possible. Alaska has a unique ecosystem, so we are starting in our own home state.
