Portland Pay It Forward
We seek to reduce hunger and food insecurity in our community. Portland Pay It Forward strives to meet the basic needs of our local community with a non-judgmental attitude and “no questions asked” policy. We understand that most people fall into hard times at some point in their lives, and our mission is to help those people get back on their feet. Each community member is to be treated with dignity and respect. Many of our volunteers and donors are people who were once our clients. During our biweekly food giveaways, Portland Pay It Forward provides produce, meat, dry goods, and other food items free of charge to any Portland resident who requests assistance. We are also available at any other time to provide emergency assistance for any Portland resident who contacts us.
