Our mission is to reduce racial and socioeconomic disparities in chest/breastfeeding support by increasing access to IBCLCs for marginalized groups. We achieve this through subsidized IBCLC visits, culturally-relevant training for community practitioners, and scholarships and internships to support BIPOC individuals in becoming IBCLCs. To create a future where every family in San Diego can thrive with equal access to lactation support, fostering healthier generations through informed and equitable lactation practices.
