As 🏀March Madness reaches the final four we wrap up Problem Gambling Awareness Month — but the conversation doesn’t stop here. Did you know March Madness is projected to generate $3.1 BILLION in legal gambling revenue this year? That’s more than double what the Super Bowl brought in. Gambling isn’t inherently harmful — but for some, especially those we serve, it can quickly spiral into a serious issue. Research shows that nearly 30% of individuals in programs like ours struggle with Disordered Gambling. We owe it to our clients to raise awareness, share resources, and offer support. Education is key — and Melodie Keen, our Clinical Manager of Gambling Services, is here to help. Interested in a “Gambling 101” presentation for your clients or staff? Reach out! Let’s keep the conversation going. #GamblingAwarenessMonth #ProblemGambling #CTRenRenaissance #MarchMadness #DisorderedGambling #MentalHealthMatters #recoveryispossible (fb)
