An Alaskan statewide non-profit that provides information, support and resources to families of children experiencing special needs. Supporting families who care for children with special needs in Alaska for over 30 years. "Stone Soup Group exists to sustain the health and well being of Alaskan children and youth with special needs, and their families. Guided by their stories, we identify areas of need and work with communities to find solutions." We provide support and assistance to families statewide, as well as education and training to parents, educators, professionals & community members. We offer several programs and services to help children and youth with many different special needs, and are staffed by experienced parents and family members of individuals with disabilities, as well as self-advocates.
