Big thank you to attorney Steven Kappen of Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service for partnering with LPN and leading a training on Power of Attorney and Standby Guardianship for immigrant service providers last week on May 29th! More than 50 people attended, and these providers are taking back valuable information about these forms that they can now share with the immigrant clients and families they serve. Also big thank you to Hampstead Hill Academy for providing the space and being amazing hosts. LPN hopes to host more of these opportunities with MVLS in the near future, so if you missed last week’s training, stay tuned! (fb)
