The mission of Makur Farms Equine Rescue & Sanctuary is to rescue, rehabilitate, protect, and prevent the abuse and neglect of equines through rescue activities, education, and the operation of a sanctuary for abused, neglected, exploited, retired, and slaughter-bound horses to live out the rest of their lives in peace and with dignity.
