CBC's mission is to teach positive life values to youth through boating and the marine environment. CBC is a non-profit educational, mentorship, and outreach organization which provides youth from the Greater New Bedford area with a unique way of learning. CBC offers a variety of educational and recreational programs throughout the year built on the waterfront heritage of New Bedford. CBC strives to instill in the young and continue to teach people of all ages the value of integrity, sound judgment, teamwork and environmental awareness. We do this, regardless of means, through instruction, mentoring and coaching.

Community Boating Center Community Boating Center Our Environment Fun Safety Learning is the cornerstone for CBCs model. A safe environment for kids socially emotionally and physically built around fun engaging activities leads to an amazing learning environment. Kids are constantly learning even when they dont realize they are learning. Learn By Doing We INVOLVE area youth age 5 to 24 in fun handson activities using boating and the marine environment.
