Highland Township Public Library: Enrich, Inspire, Empower The FRIENDS of Highland Township Public Library's mission is to expand public awareness of our library's services to the community. Further, we conduct semi annual used book sales in order to provide funds to support children, teen and adult summer reading programs. It is our mission to sponsor a special program called the Story Walk, and to provide library oriented activities for children and teens throughout the year. Our mission is carried out solely by volunteers.
