Home CoFounder K12 Haiti A message from Montie. Being perfectly honest doing mission work in Haiti over the past 10 years is depressing. Its a black hole of despair if there ever was one. In the 10 years our family and friends have been helping Haitians theyve lost 12 million people in two earthquakes assassinated a President kidnapped too many foreign aid workers to count the UN has pulled out and gangs have pretty much taken over the more populated areas.
