Terrence Simeon and the Zydeco Experience did not disappoint last night. What energy for an unfamiliar night, potential rain night, and a community showing up for so many other things both good and hard. It was an experience for those who were there. Hopeful you can be at the next show. Each show is a little different, maybe unfamiliar to you, but the ‘best’ talent and music each night. The crowd was engaged, interns brought the magic and the place felt like a Disney storyline a few times. Oh, perhaps because the band provides some of that Disney soundtrack in other endeavors. Did we say they were excellent. But, they were ama big because of the energy the crowd gave back. See you next Thursday, June 4th. Our Mission To provide educational social cultural and recreational experiences for the entire community in order to sustain healthy lifestyles that encourage intergenerational relationships. Our Facebook Feed Home Programs Cowan offers programs designed to engage the community. Grow Appalachia Supporting Letcher County families grow their own food since 2013. This program supplies seeds plowing canning and cooking classes and high tunnel programs for dozens of growers throughout the county.
