Community School Collaborative
To enrich the education of middle school students by exposing them to a broad variety of experiences that expand their horizons, create awareness of career pathways and strengthen connections among students, school and community. Goals: Capitalize on the talents, skills, experience and knowledge of local community members and organizations to provide special educational workshops that: -Promote lifelong physical health as well as social and emotional well-being. -Emphasize Science/Technology/Engineering/Arts/Math (STEAM) topics. -Expose students to a variety of career pathways. -Expand student awareness of post-secondary educational and training opportunities. -Achieve high student satisfaction and enjoyment of CSC workshops.
