I Rise Up intends to invert the situation, especially among the underserved populations. MISSION STATEMENT: People Helping People I Rise Up, Inc. is a 501c3 dedicated to reach, teach and support minority communities in Virginia with a variety of behavioral health issues to achieve help and hope through peer support services to rehabilitate lives and rebuild communities. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND A standard bearer in comprehensive peer recovery services in minority communities in Virginia, I Rise Up, Inc. has helped reach, teach and support low-income and at-risk persons and families with a variety of behavioral health issues and homelessness through an effective, culturally competent strategy that has been shown to rehabilitate lives and rebuild communities.
