He Is Me Institute Inc
He is Me Institute empowers Black men to see themselves as educators through teaching and mentoring fellowships with middle school boys of color. We provide fellowship opportunities to Black men to teach and mentor middle school boys by exploring SEL activities, self-identity, and the overall state of society. He is Me Institute is an education equity organization that empowers Black men to obtain and retain careers in teaching. We convene networks of entities to develop local pipelines for Black males to experience Black male educators, be exposed to the teaching profession, explore their own identities, and expand their teaching skills.
