Transforming Lives through DallasFort Worth Urban League Our History The National Urban League NUL a civil rights organization working to direct services and policy advocacy to address racial disparities was founded in 1910 to elevate living standards for Black Americans and other marginalized groups. The organization now has 92 affiliates across the United States that promote economic empowerment through education and job training housing and community development workforce development entrepreneurship health and quality of life.
