Our Mission: To foster lifelong learning for children and families through dynamic educational experiences.Our Vision: To become a destination that ignites and cultivates the potential of children through creativity, discovery and development.*Serves as a community resource providing interactive educational opportunities and engaging family experiences for residents and visitors.*Provides opportunities for children to demonstrate and develop their skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity.*Support and augment schools' efforts to educate children.*Since the museum's opening in 2002, we have welcomed more than 180,000 children, families, students, and educators through our doors. *As part of our new museum initiative, STEAM [science, technology, engineering, art, and math], will play a vital role in the exhibits, programs, and outreach offered with a focus on literacy as the basis for building blocks in achievement in all 5 subjects. Our goal is to foster inquiry and problem solving skills among our communities earliest learners.
