Connecting interns with businesses in an ecosystem of work-based learning that recognizes strengths, redefines career potential and elevates Fresno’s community. Career Nexus’ mission is to build a prepared workforce that elevates the community by connecting businesses with career-ready interns for work-based experience that inspires stewardship and offers greater career choices for their future. Career Nexus mission is to connect low-income young adults, ages 17-28, to careers through paid internship opportunities. We provide soft skills and career prep training to young adults and then connect them to employers. We focus exclusively on employers who provide entry-level positions with an upward mobile pathway to high-paying jobs. We onboard all of our employers to make sure they are a good match for our interns. We are often the Employer of Record, relieving our employers of the work, costs, and liability of hiring temporary employees, while providing access to a diverse workforce pipeline.
