Acacia Network Rooted in the Community Since 1969 Acacia Network Rooted in the Community Since 1969 Greenhope Services for Women Inc. About Greenhope Located in East Harlem Greenhope Services for Women was established in 1975 when a convent was transformed into a comprehensive residential and outpatient treatment program for formerly incarcerated women. Over the years Greenhope has expanded and now provides residential recovery services for women referred by various sources including but not limited to court systems including criminal court family court and mental health court parole and probation the Administration for Childrens Services as well as individuals who are independently seeking support. Greenhopes commitment to providing quality services to predominantly poor African American and Latina women has made it a leader in this field.
