HELP WANTED - FULL TIME ADOPTION COORDINATOR Forget Me Not Animal Shelter is seeking just the right fit for our team. Looking for a full time Adoption Coordinator - duties include photos/video of adoptable pets, writing pet listings, website updates, email, phone, and in-person contact with potential adopters, choosing forever homes for the pets in care, along with some in-shelter assistance to the other team members and during our in-house spay/neuter clinics. This is a challenging position requiring schedule flexibility, a calm and even-keeled disposition, understanding of cats and dogs and their individual needs, ability to match pets' personalities with the best potential adopters. Lots of on-the-job training in all aspects! Some work from home, some work at the shelter. Requirements: excellent written communication skills, time management, empathy for both people and pets, basic understanding of email etiquette and photo/video composition. Looking for someone who loves Ferry County, loves pets, and can see themselves happy in this position for 10-20 years. Starting pay $20-$24 per hour DOE. Expectations of 40 hours/week.
