Get ready for whatever may come your way with the upcoming Disaster Preparedness Training hosted by Rogue Action Center and Oregon Spinal Cord Injury Connection! 🧑‍🦼‍➡️👩🏾‍🦽‍➡️👨‍🦽‍➡️👩🏻‍🦼🧑🏽‍🦽🎒 This training will focus on being prepared for a Disaster Situation as a wheelchair user. It will explore both being physically and mentally prepared as well as have time for questions and open discussion. RSVP via Text. Join us this Thursday, May 29 from 5-7pm at RAC's Phoenix office (205 N Phoenix Rd Suite 255, Phoenix, OR) for a two hour workshop covering everything to do about being prepared during an emergency or disaster situation. From the mental mindset to what gear you should have on hand. Dinner will be provided for everyone that attends. First time attended that are wheelchair users will be provided with a stocked Go-Bag that is designed to hang off the back of power and manual wheelchairs. If you have already attended one of our trainings and received a free Go-Bag, join us anyways and brush up on being prepared and learn about any new info. @Rogue Climate and Rogue Action Center are excited to offer the Summer 2025 BIPOC Youth Leaders Internship for youth in the Rogue Valley aged 14-30. The internship runs from July 3 - August 28, 2025.
