Community Palliative Care of Northern New Mexico Community Palliative Care of Northern New Mexico Palliative care is appropriate for any patient with a serious or chronic illness and their family. From point of diagnosis onward regardless of the patients age or prognosis palliative care improves the quality of life for patients and their families. It prevents and relieves suffering as well as the physical emotional psychosocial and spiritual issues associated with serious and chronic conditions. CPCNNM is a nonprofit volunteerbased palliative care organization that serves Santa Fe and surrounding areas with inhome palliative care at little or nocost.
