DEADLINE EXTENDED JUNE 30, 2025 The Bronx River Art Center (BRAC) invites proposals from Independent Curators for our 2025–2026 Exhibition Season (November 2025 – June 30, 2026). We welcome proposals for both solo and group exhibitions that reflect curatorial innovation, community engagement, and a commitment to elevating emerging or underrepresented voices. We especially encourage proposals featuring artists and curators based in the Bronx and New York City. National and international curators are also welcome to apply. We encourage proposals that align with BRAC’s mission to support artists from underrepresented groups—including women and artists of color—and that explore relevant social, environmental, and community-based issues. We welcome interdisciplinary practices and curatorial approaches that push boundaries and foster dialogue across media and audiences.
