The Fund for Public Schools (The Fund) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded in 1982 to facilitate partnerships between the philanthropic community and NYCPS to pilot innovative projects; accelerate promising, outcome-driven initiatives; and respond strategically to emerging needs across the NYC public school system. The Fund has secured major investments from foundations, businesses, and individuals, raising more than $602 million for the students of New York City’s public schools.
