Our packing floor, where we usually pack all our food bags, last week turned into a room full of people gathering to turn hunger into hope for Minnesota kids. Our “From Hunger to Hope” fundraising event brought new and familiar people to our cause and opportunity ahead over a deliciously catered breakfast by our amazing hospitality sponsor Morrissey Hospitality. We announced our biggest initiative in our 15-year history - our Setting the Table campaign to purchase and renovate our full building and expand our impact. Thanks to early donors, the table has been set! But now, we need to Fill the Table. With a $400,000 match from the Joyful Noise Charitable Foundation, that’s what will help us purchase the food to complete our campaign goal and fill more kids’ tables. Will you help us fill the table? We asked the people in the room this question and wow did they respond! Together, they contributed $24,760 to give us a powerful start to the final phase of our campaign. We ended it with knocking down the wall that separates Every Meal’s current space from our new, expanded space to celebrate what’s to come.
