The purpose of the organization is to improve the lives of individuals living with a mental illness and to give support to them and their families; to educate our membership and the community about mental illness; to advocate for community collaboration at every level of the mental health system for better services that build on individual strengths and for a life of quality and dignity, without discrimination, and for continued research in the mental health field.
