MakerGhat is an education non-profit based in India that creates makerspaces in schools and communities. We are on a mission to develop the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs in India! MakerGhat aims to develop a MAKER MINDSET among youth. MakerGhat encourage youth to develop a sense of agency and confidence to address local and global problems. The youngsters not only learn technical and soft skills but also think about, design, and implement solutions to challenges in their communities and beyond.

MakerGhat Preparing youth for the workforce through handson maker education The Problem India is facing a major job crisis. 180 million youth will enter Indias workforce in the next 15 years over 50 from marginalized backgrounds. 90 million new jobs will have to be created many requiring digitaltechnological competency. Yet over 54 of Indian youth today are not employable for any job and 37 with a college degree are unemployed.
