The mission of the Bible Ministry Foundation is to support service ministries based on the foundation of biblical commission. Established in New York in 1998, the main ministry in New York City is the Bible Studies and Seminars ministry for immigrant populations wanting Christian education. Bible studies and educational seminars are offered bilingually in both English and Korean. Jena's Integrated Therapeutics (JIT) is a special needs ministry of the Bible Ministry Foundation based in Maryland. The mission of JIT is to serve special needs children and their families with God's love, by providing integrated day-to-day support and therapeutic practical solutions. JIT is an after-school home-away-from-home therapeutic integration program where children and youth (mainly with autism) arrive after-school to a loving and nurturing place of acceptance. The program was developed to help fill the gap in community programs for children with autism and their families. We provide care to children/youth with special needs (especially children with non-verbal or minimum-verbal autism) - current ages range from 5 – 16 years. Parents do not have to worry about who will receive their children off the bus everyday, who will take the time to do the correct applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapy during table-time, or who will take their children on a community outing. After school, children get dropped off at JIT from their respective schools by the special needs school bus. They are met by a team of direct providers who provide an individualized one-on-one program of diverse therapeutics including art therapy, movement therapy, music and dance therapy, social skills therapy as well as aquatic exercise therapy in a weekly schedule which integrates these various therapeutics with ABA and/or discrete trials table-time drilling of skills.
