FREEDOM FROM POVERTY THROUGH EDUCATION Kings World Trust forChildren was founded in 1993 to provide a caring home, an education andskills training for orphan and homeless children in developingcountries.  The Trust’s work is focused in India, which has apopulation of over one billion people and the largest percentage oforphan and homeless children in the world.KingsWorld Trust for Children is based in Haslemere UK.  Kings World (USA)Inc is based in New York.  These Trusts are managed and administeredby a team of unpaid volunteers.  The teams are responsible for fundraising and public relations and also the selection and briefing of themany volunteers who go to India to support the Trust’s work in TamilNadu, South India.TheUK & USA Trusts work in partnership with Kings World Trust forChildren (India) which manages and controls the operational work of theTrust on mutually agreed projects with children and young people.KingsWorld Trust for Children runs projects in the following specialistareas: Child Care Medical Education Tsunami Volunteers

Kings World Trust For Children Sponsor a Child Sponsoring a KINGS WORLD TRUST FOR CHILDREN KWTC child is a wonderful opportunity to help a child in desperate need. Your sponsorship will help them to escape an inevitable life of crushing poverty and give them a future full of hope and promise. We link sponsors to specific named children in our care and we encourage sponsors to keep in touch with their sponsored children thorough KWTC. Become a Volunteer Kings World Trust for Children run a successful volunteering programme which welcomes skilled and unskilled volunteers of all ages to come and work with us in Tamil Nadu supporting our staff and enriching the lives of the children we support.
