RAJ is committed to providing reduced-rate legal representation to clients whose needs are not met by existing programs and who otherwise lack affordable access to legal counsel. Rural Access to Justice Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific and education purposes. The purpose of this corporation is: A. to be organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, or scientific purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code; B. to provide legal assistance to low income, at risk, and disabled individuals; and C. to promote, advocate, and assist in providing equal access to legal services for individuals regardless of their race, gender, sexual preference, religion, creed, economic status, and occupation.
