Michigan turkey hunt! (fb)

🇺🇸🦃 First Turkey Down! 🦃🇺🇸 This week, we had the absolute honor of taking Army Veteran Keith on a turkey hunt he’ll never forget! Keith made the long drive from North Carolina all the way up to Michigan—and his first turkey harvest made it all worth it! We kicked things off on Memorial Day by meeting Keith at the hotel, treating him to dinner, and connecting with our incredible host, Kile. Over some good food and conversation, we put together a game plan for the next morning. Come Tuesday, we hit the turkey woods bright and early. After setting up along a field edge and watching hens, jakes, and a few toms strut their stuff just out of range, Kile and Keith decided to make a move. Just 15 minutes later—boom! Keith had his first-ever turkey on the ground! We celebrated with plenty of pictures, a classic breakfast pizza, and ended the day swapping stories and reliving the moment over a great dinner. By Wednesday morning, everyone was headed home, full of gratitude and smiles after a truly successful hunt. We can’t thank Kile enough for hosting and helping give Keith this unforgettable experience.
