It is the mission of the ICMS to advance the field of adultcell based medicine through a steadfast dedication to developing internationalbest practice standards that ensure patient safety, facilitate physicianeducation, and provide peer oversight. Oursociety strives to be the primary provider of unbiased, objective informationregarding the medical use of autologous adult stem cells. Through thepublication of best practice standards, the operation of a comprehensive stemcell patient treatment registry, and the provision of an internationalInstitutional Review Board, the ICMS is working to demonstrate the safety andefficacy of these therapies.
