Mission: To restore the relationship between communities & fire on the landscape. Vision: A world where communities thrive with fire. Our Prescribed Fire Mgmt program trains youth corps & students as part of our Socially-Just Workforce Development & Good Jobs Pipeline initiatives. We plan & implement collaborative prescribed fire & focus on Landowner Education & Empowerment to build local workforce capacity to regenerate the land & prevent catastrophic wildfires. Community Wildfire Resilience includes Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs), partner collaboration & community training & outreach. Our Wildfire Preparedness for All Communities builds community wildfire planning expertise. We prioritize low capacity & socially vulnerable communities to increase accessibility to CWPPs.
