Incorporated in 2004 as a tax-exempt, non-profit organization in McLean, Virginia. Working to preserv - Preserve, plant, and maintain trees in McLean;- Educate the public on the value and benefits of trees; - Assist the public in taking an active role in caring for their trees in McLean;- Provide McLean with more tree-lined, pedestrian-friendly streets;- Assist Fairfax County in achieving its goal of 45% tree canopy by 2037;- Encourage the maintenance, protection and preservation of trees; and- Support stormwater management practices that reduce erosion, sedimentation, and pollution.
