Community Foundation for Monterey County
Janet Shing, Community Foundation for Monterey County's Director of Grantmaking, addressed the Monterey Peninsula Volunteer Services’ (MPVS) annual Volunteer Appreciation Lunch this week. The all-volunteer organization (celebrating its 70th anniversary this year) operates a benefit resale shop in Seaside and returns money from its sales back into the community through grants benefitting organizations on the Monterey Peninsula. Janet gave an overview of the CFMC and described our various grant programs.
