The mission of The Tech Village is to provide support, curriculum development, and access to STEAM for BIPOC students from underserved and justice impacted areas in the Tulsa area who may otherwise not have the opportunity or ability to explore the possibilities of STEAM as a catalyst for positive change that many do not experience daily. The A in STEAM for us is Arts and Agriculture. Our vision is to create and foster a love for STEM as a means to expose them to pathways to success. Fulfilling our mission serves to promote equity in STE(Agr)M and help students understand that STEM career paths, both traditionally and in the non-traditional sense, can create economic opportunity.
