With only 28 days until the Class of 2025's last regularly scheduled school day before moving into their Senior Community Action Projects (SCAP), we’re highlighting students who have spent the year immersed in independent research through Lincoln’s Independent Study Program (ISP) 🔍📚 Offered to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors, ISP allows motivated learners to dive deep into a self-designed curriculum beyond the core academic program. With guidance from a project advisor, students engage in rigorous academic discourse—conducting research, experimenting, investigating, and producing a final capstone project that showcases their exploration. As part of our ongoing #BehindTheRedDoors series, hear from Pamela D-R. ’25, who has spent the year studying bio-engineered organs 🧬. Learn what fuels her passion for this field and why she chose to take on this ambitious independent study in her senior year. #BehindTheRedDoors #LincolnAcademics #IndependentStudy #STEM #WomenInSTEM #GirlsInScience #FutureScientists #STEMEducation #BioEngineering (fb)

🎉 Rhode Island PBS and The Public's Radio recently announced that Nakiso G. '34 (Grade 3) is a finalist for their 2025 Rhode Island Student Reader Search! 📚✨ Nakiso and her guardian submitted a 60-second video of her reading, and from a pool of 75 submissions, she was chosen by a selection committee as one of five finalists! Representatives from RI PBS and The Public's Radio visited Lower School today to recognize and celebrate her accomplishment with our community and present her with a fun PBS swag bag! 💚 Congratulations, Nakiso, on this amazing achievement! #readmorebooks @rhodeislandpbs @thepublicsradio (fb)
