To honor senior veterans in their communities and beyond and to guard their legacies for future generations. Our mission is to honor senior veterans in their communities and beyond and to guard and preserve their legacies for future generations. We do this by taking them to various community events where they will receive honor, museums and ceremonies that relate to their service and help them to heal, and also by recording their stories, pairing them with engaging video and lesson plans for teachers to use for free, in various subject areas...not just history class! Through this multi-discipline approach, their sacrifices and service won't be forgotten and will penetrate into the student's minds about how their service is still relevant and personal to all of us, even today. Many are racing to record stories, especially of WWII veterans--but we want the videos actively USED in our classrooms.
