New Vision for Independence Inc.
New Vision for Independence Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization dedicated to providing vital services to individuals with severe bilateral vision loss in Lake, Sumter, and The Villages in rural central Florida. The organization was incorporated on July 18, 2005.
Mission and Programs
New Vision for Independence aims to eliminate barriers to independence for people with vision loss through rehabilitation, community education, advocacy, and support services. We call this The Four Pillars We provide vision rehabilitation or skills training throughout Lake Sumter and The Villages in rural central Florida sponsored in part by the State of Florida Division of Blind Services. Our support services are open to anyone anywhere with a visual impairment.
