Congratulations to Henderson Community College’s Interim Manager of Information Technology Jonas Hunziker who was recently named the recipient of the KCTCS Technology Solutions Collaboration Champion Award! He received the award at this year’s TechEx conference—an annual gathering of IT professionals from across the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). The Collaboration Champion Award recognizes individuals who consistently go above and beyond to foster teamwork and innovation across KCTCS. Jonas' contributions have made a system-wide impact, elevating him as a trusted and valued partner in statewide IT initiatives. In one of multiple nominations submitted by his peers from other KCTCS colleges, Jonas was praised for his dedication, expertise, and willingness to support others: “Jonas’ impact goes well beyond his campus. Year after year, he is consistently willing to help others when called upon—whether it's assisting the enterprise systems team with a technical issue or stepping in to guide another college through a challenge. He goes above and beyond to share his expertise and make an impact.” Another nominator mentioned, “Jonas regularly interacts with members of the configuration management team, sharing his ideas or concerns for open group discussion.
