TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION OF ARCTIC, SUB-ARCTIC AND LIKE-CLIMATE SPECIES THROUGH EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT. THE ZOO PROVIDES REHABILITATION AND SHELTER FOR INJURED AND ABANDONED ANIMALS. THE FACILITY IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC YEAR ROUND.
