Phoenix Performance Foundation Our Corporate Purpose The Phoenix Performance Foundation was organized primarily for the purpose of encouraging the creation of new music composition and performance. We seek to achieve our goals through philanthropic support of music composition and performance including the sponsoring of competitions distributing awards and scholarships and commissioning new works. The Phoenix Performance Foundation is the sponsor for the annual Phoenix Percussion Composition Competition. The judges that evaluate the competition entries and select the finalist are members of the Phoenix Percussion board and are respected percussion composition professionals.
