Yaqar: valuable, prized, weighty, precious A collaboration of willing people on behalf of orphans. The Yaqar Project seeks to create a network of established organizations around the world working with social or legal orphans and volunteers who wish to support these efforts with skills or with finances. Yaqar means valuable, and the Project intends to remind the forgotten children of the world that they are valuable and anyone with a heart to help that any skill or small donation is valuable and can make a life-chasing difference. Our three part purpose is to create an opportunity for anyone to change a life through volunteering on any level they are able, to create a resource for organizations who are established and in need of support, and to create a network of these people that stretches around the globe.
