Friends of the Mad River
"It is not possible to step twice into the same river." -Greek proverb Founded in 1990, the Friends of the Mad River work to achieve a healthy watershed through research, education and cooperative partnerships with Mad River Valley residents, businesses and governments. We work to foster a greater understanding of the Mad River and its watershed and offer specific solutions to problems facing this precious community resource.
