Cherry is looking for a home where she can be the center of the universe. Attention? She needs it like air. Walks? Yes, please. Belly rubs? Essential. Hugs? Non-negotiable. This girl is basically a living, breathing weighted blanket with legs. Originally found strutting the streets of Boston (probably looking for more people to adore her), Cherry is 7 years young and ready to retire from street life into your arms—or better yet, onto your couch. She’ll happily sleep in your bed, sit on your lap, and be involved in every aspect of your life, including bathroom breaks. If you’re a “personal space” kind of person, she’s not judging—but she’s also not your dog. Cherry is sweet, snuggly, and has a PhD in dramatic belly-flopping for rubs. She’s been polite to the other dogs here, but she does have a little bit of “main character energy.” She’s not a mean girl, just a confident queen with opinions—especially about one female dog who she’s decided is her rival. Cherry has a grade 2 heart murmur, but she had an echo and doesn’t need any meds at this time. She also just had cherry eye surgery (yes, Cherry had a cherry eye) and a dental, and she’s recovered like a champ. She’s spayed, up to date on all her vaccines, recently had full bloodwork, and is basically ready to move in and take over your heart (and your furniture). (fb)
