Libby's Legacy: Rescue and Rehabilitation for Off-the-Track Thoroughbred Racehorses
The mission of Libby's Legacy is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome off the track thoroughbred ex-racehorses. Many of these horses come to us in need of psychological and medical care due to the extremity of their past racing careers. The mental stress put upon them is unimaginable. Many have ulcers, trauma and physical injuries that they need to recover from. We will help in any way we can to make sure they have a comfortable place to live out the rest of their lives in retirement.
